Here are President-Elect Paul Brochu's notes on our Club Forum this morning:
- I discussed the upcoming Rotary Friendship Exchange in Wellington New Zealand 3-17 Feb 2020. Anyone interested should contact me and I'll put them in touch with Dick Podolec, organizer.
- Likewise, the District is looking for clubs interested in hosting the Kiwi group in the US from 26 Sep to 10 Oct 2020. Club could discuss if anyone is interested.
- Martha briefly mentioned RYLA this year
- I reminded the club about the speech contest on Feb 6 and encouraged attendance
- I mentioned the upcoming District Conference at Sherbrooke Quebec, 2-5 May and Ken described many of the events and encouraged attendance
- Steve Rand mentioned that Joyce Ives (sp?) a past President, wished to attend our changing of the guard and wondered about date and location
- Steve also encouraged attendance at documentary "Dark Money" at the Flying Monkey tomorrow, Thursday, Jan 24
- Moe mentioned a fundraiser at Thornton Elementary tonight from 4:30 to 6:30 for FirstStar
- I thanked Cheryl Callnan for stepping up to be Club Treasurer and asked for anyone who would like to step up as Club Secretary.
