What a fun morning we had with David Page of White Mountain Brewing Company in Ashland. Dave walked us through the variety of brews that he makes and what is plans are for the future of his business. There was a broad consensus that after the first of the year we need to have a club fellowship event at his brewery. Stay tuned! To see his presentation, please go to our Facebook Page. We also had the pleasure of welcoming our District Governor, Larry Vars, and his wife Joan to the meeting. DG Larry shared with us information about the upcoming District Conference in Sherbrooke in May and thanked us for our support for The Rotary Foundation.
Sara announced that there is a special service opportunity coming up with Sadhana Forest in Haiti. More information will be forthcoming. She also mentioned that Professor Daniel Lee of PSU, who was our program a few weeks ago, is in need of one more business to help with his Economics Club at the Middle School Please contact him at sclee1@plymouth.edu if you would like to help out.
Tom, our morning chef, joined us and Sara presented him with a gift from the Club for all he does to make our morning a success. He took a minute to talk about the animal rescue farm he and his wife operate in Danbury.
