Earle and two friends (John McRae, Doug Whitley)  all with experience in community projects learned about a desk program for youth learning remotely due to COVID. They formed a work group, asked for a grant from Lowes and received $1,500 for materials. They fabricated a template and kit for two sizes of desk. They have set up a workshop and have had great success building them, but need help finding the students who need them. A discussion followed about how Rotary can help by contacting schools and the current woodshop teacher.

Thursday the 28th from 8am - 5pm in Lincoln/ Woodstock- needs 10-12 people, their Rotary has been contacted as well. Volunteers at the clinics can receive their vaccination while there. There will be a Zoom Training Thursday if possible.

Denise reported that the membership committee met with the board on Friday and will begin research on a focus group to define membership and the general public's impression of Rotary. Ken and Denise will connect on the press release asking for participation in the focus group.
