Rotary Clubs from NH and MA are joining the effort to support Plymouth Rotary's Ukraine Relief Project.
Plymouth Rotary Club has adopted  NH Relief for Ukraine as a project, and we continue to watch the funding grow.  With a flurry of contributions over the past two weeks, proceeds from the Fisher Cats benefit game and a big boost from generous larger donors, we have now raised more than half a million dollars from the public, matched by our Member Alex Ray, of the Common Man, for a total of more than $1 Million for the NH Relief for Ukraine effort. Now, its on to finish strong and raise another $500,000 so we can finish up donating $2 Million to war-torn Ukraine.   Among the contributors to date are several Rotary Clubs from NH and MA.   In the last 2 weeks, we have received generous donations from 4 Clubs for a total of $8200.   We are thrilled with this "word of mouth" support and hope that other Clubs will join in to the project, which sends money to Rotary Clubs in Poland, who are administer the logistics to help their Ukrainian neighbors with food, shelter, transportation, trauma counselling, and moral support.  With winter approaching, the need will increase, and our donations will be greatly needed.
Thank you to all who have helped us reach the half-way point in our campaign.
