Breakfast meeting: 6/30/2021
 
Denise opened the meeting as usual, with a salute to the flag, prayer and song.  She shared a Paul Harris quote: “The foundation upon which Rotary is built is friendship; on no loess firm foundation could it have stood.”
Tony challenged us with his trivia questions.
Starting 7/7/21, we will begin the 50/50 raffle and card game raffle. 
The Common Man Inn can set up buffet breakfast again, not sure which room meetings will be help in, its up to the Inn.
$5 for breakfast, plus $1 tip.  Raffle tickets are $1 each.  Tony asks us to bring small bills as he will collect money at the door.
Denise passed around a thank you note from our Citizen of the Year, Tim Keefe.
 
Jessica Dutile of Plymouth State University is asking if any Rotarians would like to volunteer to help the incoming PSU freshman on August 27, 2021 on their move in date.  It’s a great way for the first year students to meeting their community neighbors.   Contact her at jadutile@plymouth.edu for more information.  She has also offered her services to assist Rotary is any projects we are working on.
 
Ken has sent out information and Ben has forwarded to the Club sign up dates beginning in July to volunteer and hand out brochures and greet people coming to the Campton side of Livermore Falls.
 
Congratulations to our very own, Mike Carrier, as District Governor 2021 to 2022.  We are so proud of him.

Ben thanked the club for his gift for serving as President last year.  He has his plaque hanging on his office wall.
 
Ken is working on a press release about the Changing of the Guard.  It was mentioned to make sure it contains our website and logo.
Denise mentioned Choose Love in New Hampshire.  Choose Love SEL programming was developed in response to trauma and we are uniquely qualified to support social, emotional, and mental health recovery for our children, schools and communities.  There are Choose Love
Ambassadors in our Plymouth area and working with Jess Dutile.  Steve was interested in having Jess Dutile speak to the club about it.
