There is a lot happening in Plymouth Rotary!
 
The tables of school supplies were waiting for us at Whole Village for our annual Pack a Pack event with the Elks Club.
 
We packed two kinds of bags: one for elementary students and the other for high school.  
 
Once again, our students will have what they need to begin a successful year.  Way to go, team!
 
Following our morning meeting at The Common Man on August 12th, many of us made our way up to Speare Memorial Hospital where we were joined by hospital President & CEO Craig Williams and medical assistant Sydney Whitehouse for the presentation of a check to the hospital in support of Sydney's "Courage Kits" project.

Our game of toss the Hacky Sack through the Logo really caught on with kids of all ages.
 
Our PRHS Interact Club's face painting booth was also a hit.
 
Our club was proud to send these students from PRHS to this year's Rotary Youth Leadership Academy
 
Leadership skills were in evidence during a number of activities during the weekend.
 
The Saturday Night Talent Show was a highlight!
This year's Changeover in leadership featured several recognitions for outstanding service to our club. 
 
Beverly Tedeschi was recognized as our Citizen of the Year.
 
Plymouth Congregational Church was inducted as a new Corporate Member.
 
Denise is joined by Doug Moorhead from the Lincoln-Woodstock Club during The Circle Program Clean-up Day.  Others also joined in the fun.

Russ and Ken joined with staff from the Audubon Society in Hebron to transport kayaks and canoes from the lake up to their winter storage area
Plymouth Rotary participated in a meal packing event up in North Conway and brought back to Plymouth more than 400 meals to be distributed by the Senior Center and PACC.
 
Yes...meal packing can be a lot of fun!
 
We were joined again this year at Whole Village by the Plymouth Elks Club to pack backpacks for students.  We were super fast!
