Denise asked we dedicate the Rotary Prayer to Alex Ray for a save trip and return from Poland.

Card game has $244 in the pot, Maryann Barnsley drew from the deck but did not pull the 6 of spades

 

Today’s guest was Maryann Barnsley of exploreplymouthnh.com .  She reviewed a new section of their website for non-profits.  Part of their site is free, and you can purchase additional services to unlock other areas for the website.  The site has a community calendar, as well as links to local businesses.  They will be expanding the site to include news articles and content submitted by members.

 

Denise raised a question for members to consider an after hours meeting in the future.  Last year we had a few dinner meetings at the Sunset Grill in Campton. 

 

Paul Brochu sent an email out about an upcoming Rotary trip to India from 9/9/22 to 9/20/22 to help with Polio vaccinations.  India is very close to eradicating polio from their country.  The cost is $2,500 plus airfare.  You will be housed by local Rotarians.  A trip like this can be a life changing event.  Consider how you might help?

 

Next week will be a Club Forum and we will hold our Club elections for officers and board members.  We do not have anyone in line for President Elect or Vice President, but elections will be held anyway. 

 

Saturday, May 21s was Circle Camp Cleanup and thanks to Mike, Ken E, Lora, Ken W, Sharon, Denise, and Renee for helping Beth Devers and her crew at Circle Camp.  The morning was cloudy and it was a blessing.  It did not heat up until the afternoon.  It was a great time.  Sharon was honored to work with Karen and Eric Werner a the Alison Werner Barton Activity Area and rope course made in memory of their daughter.  Volunteers were served lunch and it was a wonderful time.

Denise acknowledged that the Club will be putting on the Penny Sale this year, and it appears the High School Interact Club may run the Plymouth Got Talent themselves.  We will maintain the cost to keep the URL for the website in case we need it again. 

 

Rotary cleans the Kanc on June 4^th.  Please sign up yourself and guests at www.rotarycleans.org and to get locations and time.

 

Speaking of Changing of the Guard, Save the Date:  Wednesday evening, June 22 and begins at 6pm.  The Changing of the Guard will be held at The Barn on the Pemi.  The Changing of the Guard is a special evening for Rotarians and their guests to enjoy a nice dinner, entertainment and pay tribute to our outgoing President, Denise Castonguay and congratulate our incoming President, Braden Smith, as well a change of Officers and Board Directors.  It’s a wonderful evening.  The cost is $45 per person and look for an invite in your inbox to RSVP and find out how to pay.  See Sharon or Braden for more information.
