This morning we welcomed some of our Scholarship Recipients:  Chad Merrill. After welcoming all to this new Rotary Year and introducing our guests, Paul walked us through a number of announcements:  1)  Thanks to all for making our Changing of the Guard last Wednesday evening such and enjoyable time.  2)  Tickets for our Christmas in July Raffle are out.  Please sell, sell, sell!  Additional tickets are available in Sharon's Office.  3) Paul on Denise to talk about the upcoming  Annual Family Fun Day on July 6th....at Dave Cote's Smith Bridge field.  Volunteers are needed throughout the day.

 

Ken congratulated Dawn, Kathy and Cheryl, who could not be with us at the Changing of the Guard, for being recognized as Paul Harris Fellows.

Paul asked Mike to give a report on this past weekend's RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) event that was held at the University of Northern Vermont - Lyndon.  We sponsored four students from PRHS: Kaylie Sampson, Ashley DeRuvo, Ellen Ryan, and Taylor Maine.  Students participated in a Polio Plus event which raised almost $8,000!!
