President Sara also highlighted that the District Conference is coming up on May 3-5 up in Sherbrooke, QC as we celebrate their 100th anniversary. The Changing of the Guard is June 19th and we are looking for nominations for Citizen of the Year. On On June 12th we are joining with the Lincoln/Woodstock and Bristol Clubs for a collaborative event at the Flying Money at 7 pm. The program is: Engaging Community: Identifying solutions related to jobs, housing, and sustainability in our towns. Demographer Peter Francese will present and moderate a discussion between panel members and the audience regarding ways to alleviate the unintended consequences of our aging population. On April 17th Dr. Bonnie Bechard of PSU and student Molly Timmins spoke about "Climb Above Addiction." This is an outdoor adventure event raising awareness and funds to fight the addiction crisis.
