March 4, 2026 Breakfast Meeting Notes
Dan Abbe won the 50/50; he donated the money to the club.
Today was round 2 of the speech contest. We welcome visitors from Lincoln/Woodstock and Bristol!
The Rotary weekly highlight for today is the speech contest. Contestants will participate by number, not name. We have 3 contestants, one from each club. We were treated to 3 excellent talks; each student had his or her own unique way of addressing the topic of being an agent for positive peace.
While the judges were tabulating the final results, Tony presented his famous NH Trivia, “What we love about Bristol, Lincoln, and Woodstock.”
Contestant #2 was the winner, #1 was the runner up, and #3 finished third. Thanks and congratulations to all for participating!
Mike recognized Jay and Maureen Polimeno of Lincoln/Woodstock for their longstanding generous support of all three clubs.
Denise forwarded an invitation to our club from Lincoln Woodstock. They are holding a course to grant CPR certification and invite up to two members of our club to participate. One member has signed up and one position remains.
Happy dollars were shared by the attendees.
Alex donated his winnings from Super Bowl Squares to the club. Thanks you, Alex!
Raffle tickets for Lincoln Woodstock’s truck raffle are available for sale!
