Bill Clark has been handed the gavel and will be leading the way for our 2016-2017 term. Congrats Bill! He's got some good plans and will be highlighting some areas of Rotary that we have not focused on in a while. Our outgoing President, Kelly Beebee was more than happy to step down give her love-hate relationship with public speaking. She did a great job, and we are lucky to have her as both a President and a member. Here's to a new year!
Update on Skip
I spent some time with Barbara and Skip today. Skip had colorectal surgery Thursday night to clear a blockage that was giving him digestive fits for the last weeks. He is in Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital in Hanover. According to the medical staff, the surgery went smoothly and Skip is happy that the problem was caught in time and optimistic about the future outcome. Not sure when he will be released from the hospital but probably not for several days. He was a little groggy today and pretty much full of tubes but he was in good spirits and has his cell phone and I pad to receive communications from folks. I believe that Mikes prayer on Wednesday evening was heard and answered. A few more would be helpful just to be on the safe side. ~ Ken
RYLA
We had 4 students attend RYLA at Lyndon State College; Brianna, Kahlila, Griffin, Sam. From the photo's it looks like they had a great time, and what an experience!
